Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data held by Cresco Pruning. We will process all verified deletion requests within 5 business days.

What data we hold

Depending on how you use Cresco Pruning, we may hold the following personal data:

  • Account data: email address, display name, and Firebase authentication identifier
  • Garden data: plant names, care notes, photos, and pruning history
  • Location data: approximate city/region used for weather-based advice (if enabled)
  • Subscription status managed via RevenueCat
  • Server logs retained for up to 30 days

How to request deletion

Send an email to:

Subject: Data Deletion Request

Please include the email address associated with your Cresco account so we can verify and process your request. You do not need to provide any reason for the deletion request.

What happens next

We will acknowledge your request by email, typically within one business day.

We verify the request relates to the account holder to prevent unauthorised deletion.

All personal data is deleted within 5 business days of verification. This includes your account, garden data, uploaded photos, and any associated records.

We will confirm by email once the deletion is complete.

Exceptions

We may retain certain data where required by law (for example, transaction records required by Dutch tax law for up to 7 years) or where necessary to resolve disputes. In such cases we will inform you of what data is retained and why.
